TMJ disorders can be debilitating and uncomfortable and may affect your ability to perform daily actions such as speaking, chewing and yawning. Here at Wolf and Osborne LTD, we provide TMJ treatment to help manage these conditions and help you enjoy a healthier, more comfortable quality of life.

What Is The TMJ?

The TMJ, or temporomandibular joint, is the joint which connects your lower jaw to your skull. When our dentists and team refer to the “TMJ” we are usually talking about a TMJ disorder, also called TMD. This condition occurs when the jaw joint becomes stressed, injured or misaligned. This can occur as a result of a variety of different factors, including stress, teeth grinding and clenching, arthritis in the joint or trauma or injury to the head, neck or jaw. Our dentists will work with you to determine the cause and severity of your TMJ disorder in order to create a treatment plan that meets your needs.
