What Is Oral Cancer?

- Persistent sore throat or feeling that something is caught at the back of the throat
- Unexplained bleeding in the mouth
- Persistent or lasting sores of the face, neck or mouth – these sores often bleed easily and do not heal within two weeks
- Unexplained loss of feeling, pain or numbness in the face, neck or mouth
- Chronic ear pain
- Lumps, bumps or rough spots on the gums or lips, or in other areas of the mouth
- Red, white or speckled patches in the mouth
- Difficulty chewing, speaking or swallowing
- Changes in your bite or in the fit of oral appliances
